The Barnes and Noble Bookstore will be a partial renovation of underutilized Residence Hall space combined with glass and steel expansion at the rear of the building. The program includes adding new spaces such as an exterior courtyard, cafe, and reading room in addition to the traditional books and college supplies for an artistically geared college. The store on street level will be open to the public and act as a signature destination along 27th street in Manhattan.
