This project was the design of multifunctional studio spaces for the Art department as well as state-of-the-art production and instructional spaces for the Computer Animation and Interactive Media (CAIM) department. After working closely with each department to develop the program, the design was developed to integrate art with technology for these highly specialized spaces. The renovation addressed asbestos remediation and a full MEP upgrade. The project included the renovation of the corridor and restrooms to create ADA compliant restrooms as well as a new ADA unisex restroom to serve FIT’s transgender community.
